Bad art

Mon Jan 14, 2008, 4:51 PM
I was looking through my many folders (where I keep all my drawings), and many of the figure drawings I did that were posted here actually weren't very accurate. I see alot of proportion issues, poor shading, features being drawn different than they were in the pic. I'm so embarassed that I made such mistakes :( Well from now on, I'm going to be more careful when drawing and do alot of checking to make sure the forms are accurate!

Um! Have you ever really looked at some of those, Big time famous oil paintings from the past few hundred years? They are not perfect, many far from it. It's only since the use of computers that people started looking for all the little inperfections in art.

If you want to improve, because you want to is one thing, but do it for you and don't worry about others.

Just keep this look on your face and you'll be just fine [link]
so you improved some :) from the past, we all grow art wise :) I thnk your stuff is awesome from the past and present, and its awlays good to know where we were and where we are now...:)

Indeed. It just feels funny looking at the old stuff (even works from a few months ago) and seeing how bad they really are, when at the time they seemed good!

it's actually a good thing, because that means you're getting even better!
yep, as long as we improve!
Always keep those old drawings to look back on.
You'll notice how much you've improved and it's quite the confidence booster!
